Am I buying the car from Black Dog Automotive or from the dealer?

Only franchised new car dealers are authorized to sell new cars in the United States. Black Dog acts as your advocate in the transaction and helps facilitate the delivery. We negotiate the lowest price and finance terms. Then we deliver the car to you directly. When you purchase a car through Black Dog the vehicle comes with the same factory warranty and is eligible for the same incentives and special financing from the factory that would have been available if you went directly to the dealer. The title is in your name and the dealership processes the DMV paperwork.

Where can I get my car serviced?

You can service your car at any authorized dealer or independent repair shop. We recommend servicing your car at an authorized dealer.

How much do you charge for your services?

Black Dog Charges a $250 fee which will be more than offset by the savings Black Dog negotiates on your behalf. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, Black Dog will refund your fee, no questions asked. Our business model is based on customer satisfaction. If you are not happy than we are not happy.

Do you provide your own financing?

We will ensure that you are receiving the most advantageous financing terms available.

Can I get my own financing?

Absolutely. If you have arranged your own financing that is no problem. We can facilitate the transaction directly with your bank or credit union.

What about an extended warranty?

If you are interested in an extended warranty we recommend the manufacturers extended warranties for three reasons. They usually are the most affordable, comprehensive, and easiest to administer. However, we don't believe you should pay two, three, even four times the dealers cost for them. If you are interested in an extended warranty just let us know. We will give you several options at the lowest price possible.

Do you run my credit report?

No, Black Dog does not, however, the dealership will check your credit report and your score must be disclosed to you. The only way to avoid having your credit run is to present a cashiers check at time of purchase.
