Dan Delehanty is the President of Black Dog
Automotive, LLC. He has over 15 years experience in
the retail automotive business encompassing all
aspects of dealership operations as a salesperson,
internet director, sales manager, finance manager,
general manager, and dealer principal. Dan has been
involved with stores selling Jaguar, Audi, Infiniti,
Honda, Acura, BMW, Ford, Rolls Royce, and Ferrari.
While retailing in the United States has gone through
tremendous change, the way cars are sold has changed
little. Concerns about customer satisfaction at some
stores forced manufacturers to send surveys to
customers inquiring about the service they received.
Although this helped, the overall process still
remains the same. After going through the spin cycle of a
salesperson, closer, sales manager, and finance
manager, most customers leave the store uncertain
whether they got a good deal. This is what inspired
Black Dog Automotive. All Black Dog customers can say
with confidence that they know they got the best deal.
And, it was fun and easy!

Dan grew up on the Peninsula. He lives in Menlo Park
with his wife, daughter, son, one yellow lab, and –
you guessed it – two Black Dogs – Labradors.
